Delhi MCD Elections Results 2017, Exit Polls Results: There are total of 272 wards now in Delhi MCD including east, north and south Delhi which are also known as NDMC, SMDC and EDMC or districts, so the elections will be conducted once a 5 year for Delhi MCD as same as Vidhan Sabha (Assembly) or Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) elections, so the next Delhi MCD elections can be conducted in the month of April 2017 but it’s not official. Official dates announced by the EC, we will update information here after the official announcement of filling of nominations, last date of nominations, notifications polling dates, schedule, counting of votes, results dates are announced by the officials.
Delhi MCD Elections 2017 Exit Polls: Exit polls are the surveyed results which are conducted by some news channels or agencies to show the estimates fo the elections results, Exit polls in terms of Wikipedia can be defined as “an opinion poll of people leaving a polling station, asking how they voted”, on the day of elections, when people come out of the polling station after casting their votes, some agencies or news channels ask their opinions, and based on the opinion they make a data of the political parties with estimation of the winning of seats. The exit polls are usually released on the day of elections. Even after the voting of Lok Sabha elections, the exit polls were announced on the same day. Opinion or Exit Polls are not exact Results it’s just expected seats projections (based on the survey conducted) and Actual Results may be different from Exit Poll Results. That’s it!

Recently there was no Aam Aadmi party in Delhi MCD elections so there was a direct fight between the BJP and the Congress where BJP won Delhi MCD elections and mayor and deputy mayor from their party only. The BJP won the maximum seats 148 and become largest party in Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections where as Indian National Congress managed to win 71 seats and became second largest party or the minority party in Municipal Corporation of Delhi election and BSP won 13 seats, IND won 22 seats, INLD won 3 seats, JDU won 1 seat, LJP also won 1 seat, NCP won 6 seats, RLD won 5 seats and SP won 2 seats.
Exit polls are conducted by so many agencies/news channels like News 24, Chanakya, ABP News, Times Now, NDTV, Aaj Tak, India Today, Total TV, India TV, CNN-IBN, IBN 7, India News, Zee News, News Nation, Sahara Samay, News X etc. Some times exit polls are not accurate, they show some party winning but some other party may win and in some other cases, exit polls shows accurate data regarding the winning of the party etc. Also Check: JEE Main Result 2017
